+1 on the GtWorx springs, I have them and a set of MR Bilsteins to put on my 05 Evo. I'll let you know what I think in a few weeks.

If your shocks are in working order you can fit the springs without major upset; however best combination reported in this forum is Swift springs + Bilstein shocks

i had the same setup with Tein S-techs, your struts probably went through a lot. your best bet for piece of mind is to go with Megan street coilovers for such a low price. Speedcorps sells them for the best price on EVOM. The car handles so much better and feels like an Evo again and not some hooptie honda civic. Hit up Speed Corps, his name is John F, tell him I sent you. He'll take care of you.

iota - if your shocks are good then you are good to go.

evoixbri - what? If feels like it handles better because the S-techs suck that much. Going to OEM from the S-techs will feel like an improvement. How do you know the streets handle better? Its a feeling not fact.

listen slicksmike. anyone going from tein s-techs to megan coilovers and proper setup will know that the car handles much better. I had Robispec do my install and alignment, he can vouche for that as well. so back the *** up.

In proper English - I am not going against people. I have experience and a ton of time in this car. I had Megan coil-overs well before my current setup. It is not negativity, it is setting a car up right the first time. I don't state if feels better, I know its better. Time on track and AXing proved what I was after.

It's like saying jumping off cliffs is fun and feels great. When you know it is not fun and hurts a lot. People love to bandwagon. I prefer to be the stick in the mud and remember to mention to people that hey - there are other, better, more suited options out there.

have s techs on my car now, would have preferred something better but got them for 99 installed. when i have the money i would love to switch to robispec or swifts like everyone said. have seen them and they handle great. for me personally i will/would just save up for a decent set of coilovers bc no spring will handle as well as they do. but like what everyone else already made clear, s techs FTL

well it depends on offset of your 9in wheels and chamber. I would look at a TEIN-H spring. Alittle rough on the ride compared to a nice coilover but they wont blow your shock struts.
