Damned S-techs!

The previous owner put s-techs on my 04. I'm sick of em. the ride quality sucks, I scrape on everything, and my rear sits lower than my front for christ sakes! Plus, I'm getting some 18x9 wheels, and s techs will not do. Can I get a recommendation of SPRINGS (don't need and can't afford coil overs) that give a good ride will look perfect with the 18x9s, and wont sag in the rear!

thanks much in advance.

Hothkiss springs

you could get hothkiss springs which about 1.5 drop in the front and .9 in the back. I have that with 18inch gramlight with no problem except weight in the car.

s-techs and hotchkiss cause the shocks to go out prematurely as well so watch out

My GF210 Tanabe is not as low as S-techs! Swifts are higher than Tanabe though.

Swifts!

-1.4 up front and -0.8 in the rear. And handling will be awesome!

Thanks for the feedback, swifts seem to be the consensus. Spec-r or Mach sport? Where is the cheapest I can find them? How difficult is the install?

Contact Andrew at GTWorx for the springs.

Easy install - 3 to 4 hours. Get a spring compressor at AutoZone for $35-40 bucks.

Like most other people will say, Swifts'!!!! I have them on my 06 MR matched with the Bilstein shocks. It handles great along with evening the wheel gap out. I love they way the car sits now.

If just street use - get the Swift Sports. If you track/ax on r-comps - get the Spec Rs.

Don't need spring compressors if you have testes and eyeballs of steel. Lol. Went without compressors last time I did springs. Not recommended but i was lazy to rent the compressors.
