Spring install question

the bumpstops...do i HAVE to cut them or is it alright to leave them intact? never really known why this needs to be done...

also just to make sure, this is the solid yellow piece right?

From: somewhere testing various tires, brakes, and suspensions.
Each spring company will send instructions on what to cut (if needed). I cut one notch off mine - but each is different.

I have Swift sports and did Not cut the stops.

The instructions included a lists of cars and spring model where cutting is required and the Evo/spring is not in that list.

Chassis CT9A and Swift part # 4M008 (sport) or 4M008R (spec R) are not on the installer notice that came with the product.

I've got swift spec r's and didn't cut, works great, haven't bottomed out yet.

Shoot, I cut my rear bump stops when we installed. I thought the instructions said to cut the rear?

What do you mean by all those icons? You think I messed my suspension up in the rear? I haven't bottomed out yet. Knock on wood
