winter tire size for stock wheels

The 55 series is quite a bit taller than recommended. Cant guarantee those would clear without rubbing.

Exactly what I was wondering! Thanks Neal! Also do you have any recommendations as far as what snow tire to run out here in Utah to get me up and down the canyon safely, or should the Continentals be good considering I'll be driving on dry pavement probably 75% of the time? Thanks again for the input.

If you don't go full blooded Blizzak snow tires, then I'd recommend the Conti DWS as an all season. Those have the best winter bite of the all season tires.

A 55 series 17 would definately rub FYI. I ran a 205-60-16 WS-50 25.7 diameter and rubbed front and rear at stock ride height.
