Suspension Problem

All of a sudden my car makes a noise in my front left wheel well like my tire's hitting the wheel well when I go over speed bumps or take right turns. wtf! It's stock and I haven't driven in a way that would damage the suspension.

Every now and then when I go over a bump or ridge in the road I can hear a knocking... sounds like a lower control arm knocking, maybe a bad bushing or something. Next time I go to the dealer I'll have them look at it.

Why would I have a problem like this at 3200 miles? I know this is the first year they've been making this car in the states. They've been making EVOs in Japan for around 10 years, right? You would think they would learn their mistakes by now. If they make ME pay for it there's going to be words... unkind words.

Did you make sure the shipping spacers have been removed from your springs? They've been left in on more than one occasion.

I just noticed this on my car as well. It seems to only happen when making a turn or going over bumps. It is very intermittant on my car though, and can't reproduce it very often.

Go and grab your tire (while the car is parked ) and pull the tire back and forth as hard as you can. If you feel ANY play you may have a bad strut. I did, and it was replaced under warranty.

BTW, mine was left front as well, but check both
