pistons

how did you get the pistons out of the calipers? air gun?

Yup..Was a pain in the azz on the fronts..

i did my calipers yellow and clear coated over the stickers and have had no problems. they still look great.

Those look awesome... only issue as i'm getting mine rebuilt (don't have time to do mine)

calling the brembo rep in MI i get this from them:

The calipers are not made to be split apart. There is special thread locker used by Brembo and special torque values achieved only while using said sealant.
Not to say it's impossible to put them back together and have it work, but Brembo will not stand by them at that point.

I love the color but even though i'm seeing some paint peel etc... just going to rebuild and pu them back on... plus mine are brownbo's now anyway

The Brakes are over 6 years old, Dont think Brembo would warranty them anyhow. That is just typical liability CYA stuff right there from Brembo.

I figured i was going through all the trouble, might as well have nice pretty calipers to look at, intead of my cake white red ones..
