Whats the width of your wheels? Lowering doesn't help the tires rubbing the fender liner. But a little search will result in Swift, Works, GT Worx, Eibach. All have gotten great reviews. Now your turn to find the right one for your needs (height?, rate?).

You will need extended studs if you plan on running spacers. Is it rubbing that badly? I would guess only on full lock, which you probably dont do as often, and at high spend at any rate. Go with the combos SmikeEvo posted...proven performance my friend!

Im not telling you to get them, But I just picked up a set of megan racing lowering springs! The ride is amazing and the drop is nice too! 1.8" in the front and 2.0" in the rear. The ride is unbelievable!

Well, they are:

-2 front / 280 lbs/in
-1.9 rear / 250 lbs/in

That is too low and incorrect spring rating. Neither is a combo for good handling.

Well the evo is just my daily right now, so they work for me, they gave a nice look to the car. If I was ever using the car for anything more than daily driving I would have got coilovers!

I think the majority of people will tell you that Swifts springs are overall one of the best springs out there for Evo Viii and IXs.

The drop is not so significant that they will sacrifice handling. There is such a thing as being too low and also the springs that slam the car will shorten the life of your shocks. Do some searching and the Swifts are handsdown one of the best choices you can make and you get a nice drop out of them too.
