Check out Carbotech, They are super nice and have been doing pads over 10 years. Also they have many pads for the evo that fit. I know because I bought some from them and they work well.

Sure, also I would not tell you they are good if I though they sucked I get no kick backs from anyone just to set the record straight. http://www.carbotecheng.com/main.htm Talk with Larry he is the man and knows his stuff. All he does is pads I think and he makes them as well so he knows what he's doing. They don't sell springs, tires and other BS all they do is pads.

No problem man, if something work good I try to tell everyone. These pads for ME are going to last SEVERAL more track days. It was the XPs and I had 0 fade on the car. Larry said maybe the next step I think the 10's. I can not think there is something that works even better but these are fine for me.

I've been liking the Carbotech Bobcats. I don't run the car on the track right now, but I do autocross. Good bite, low dust, and supposedly rotor-friendly (haven't had them long enough to verify that, but they look like they are so far)...

Ryan: Larry must have been refering to compound #1109. #1110 is still hush-hush
#1109 won a bunch of championships and podium finishes last week at the Runoffs. We had a GOOD week.

I couldn't find any pads for the Evo on porterfields website. I've used the r4-s before, but never on a road course.

What selections does Carbotech have? Their website seems to be down. Pricing? I need something that is going to see a couple track days and a lot of daily use. I don't care about squeks and squeels. Just as long as it doesn't eat the rotors.

The XP's I used seemed to work well for the 3 weeks on the street and the 2 days of track. Stops a LOT better then stock no mush. Also give them a call if there site is down. I just went to it and no problem. The number is 1-877-899-5024

Our website is being re-written. Some people have problems viewing it. Something to do with Java applets.
