Swifts or RobiSpecs? Help Me Decide!!

Alright, my dilemma is that this week I'm thinking of upgrading my suspension a bit. I'm gonna be visiting Robi for a rear sway bar this week. Actually more like weds. I'm also thinking of getting some springs. I just cant decide which ones I wanna get. I've looked in all the threads and i always see mixed reviews about certain springs. Ive yet to find a solid answer, and didn't find too much info on certain springs. I'm really not worried about bounce and all that. I don't wanna have to spend money twice. I'm more looking in to a set of springs i could enjoy the drop a bit but can do a turn at 90mph if i wanted to (i know.....just a figure of speech). I wanna know if i should get the RobiSpec's so he could install everything that same day and save me two trips. Please post all the useful information. Thanks for the advice SCE (Yeah, this is pretty much a newbie post for me as I'm now entering the power upgrades rather than the "show" upgrades).

Swift, GT Worx and Robi all make a great spring for the Evo. I personally run the Swift spring and have yet to see one negative thing said about them by anyone. It is pretty much common knowledge that they make one of the best springs for our cars period. Do a specific search for swift an read all the testimonials.....they speak volumes for the quality and performance of them.

Well I am considering springs and the only two options for me are GTWorks and RobiSpec (all the others are for looks and drop the car too much for the suspension IMHO)...As you are going to be at Robi's I'd recommend just going with his setup. As for the swifts, I feel they change the factory rake too much...

I have the RobiSpec springs on MR Bilsteins w/RSB. I think they perform beautifully. The car is as neutral as you can get.

I went with Robi because these springs were specifically designed to improve performance and nothing else. He has a proven track record and knows his stuff.

Click my link sig to catch view some track pics. I also drive the car on the street without complaint. Much better than the 10k/12k coil overs I used to have!

I too have been debating which springs - finally decided on the Swift Spec-R for my MR. Good luck with your research. Can anyone here post how much it cost to install????

for those of us who don't have a garage or lift, I was quoted $130 each corner and another $100 for alignment... just more info to grind..

Can be done at home in about 2-4 hours.
