I will add that what works (setup) for one course will need to be adjusted for another. Which course (all ??) were you having issues and which turn did you find the car getting loose on exit and describe loose (front pushing, rear coming around, all 4 sliding)? Are you monitoring tires temps? Were you just going in too hot or not being smooth on exit?
You have a good setup -- I would have run more negative camber in the rear and probably tried playing with the rear sway bar. On a small, tight course I like to add toe too
....Each driver has their own preference as well, so adjust accordingly.

i never said i had problems with any thing,i just merely stated that my car gets loose form time to time, like i said in a previous post im just wondering what everyone is runnin,im nosey,i know there is not "one"perfect setup
I've got nearly the same setup. meullerized jics, 25mm rsb, -3/-1.8 + 0 toe, 255 NT01s. Fun and fast. It is much "looser" than stock for sure, which i like. I've considered toe-out in front but haven't tried yet. In the rain last year at infineon i went to the "middle" spot on the rsb and it was MUCH less tail happy. Good for rain.. but not nearly as fun.

A rear sway bar adjustment will do you wonders. I found that out the hard way or should I say the fun way when my rear kicked out during a during my warm-up lap barely pushing it. Reason being is that I had it set to full stiff (RobiSpec 4-way adj.) from previously running r-comps one track event and then running street tires another event with the same setting resulting in a tail happy Evo. Not fun on a high speed track, Buttonwillow Raceway...
Took a bit to figure it out from trying different tire pressures and then finally realizing I had the sway bar set too stiff...

other then that check your tire pressure's too...
RobiSpec'd out Evo suspension wise...

how do you feel your handling was on your 8 with that setup, interesting the stock swaybar, thats usually one of the first mods people do,i run a 275 right now but if i change im going with the 255 r888 or the 275 nitto nto1,the r888 likes to be stretched, found out after i bought them,im on a 9.5 rim, thanks for your input, this is more what im looking for as my buddy and i have been debating this subject alot recently
I'm surprised you run yours on the stiff setting especially with those rear spring rates seems very aggressive but hey whatever works.

Im sorta a believer in the stock swaybar i loved the way it felt very neutral very VERY predictable and stable almost always kept all 4 wheels on the ground honestly if my current car had not come with an aftermarket sway bar i might have kept it stock as i greatly enjoyed that and was still fast with it . the stock sway bar is decent unless your trying to 'tune' the suspensionto your individual taste but there are many other ways to do that as well ,,

^ yup....we've got it all on EVO M.
Spring rate is dependent on tire compound and size....and really all of these variables are interlocked in one way or another and aspects of one may suck on another car. And the driver of course makes a difference.
We offer AST, KW, Ohlins, JRZ, Moton, and Bilstein. We try to match users with a suspension that fits their needs and budget and skill level (both in terms of driving and technical set-up)....what works for 1 person is rarely the same as what works for another.
