bilstein shocks
Have to disagree. The HD and Sport are two different items. The HD's are designed as an upgrade over oe in handling but without sacrificing ride quality. They are not to be used with lowering springs.
The Sports are valved and designed a lot differently to reduce pitch/roll and can be used with springs and/or upgraded sway bars. I run the Sports on my car with H/R springs and it works great.
Mixing the two can be done, but don't expect balanced handling front/rear. The HD end will probably handle even more off tune because of the springs.
Much like tires, its best to match the same all around for top handling and predictability.

So does Bilstein even make a H2 Bilstein for the rear?
If mixing and matching can't be done then why are the H2 fronts listed as sports but the rears HD?
or is that just showing what might be in stock? whenever that is

Remember that the H numbers don't mean a differ line of shock, but a slight change to design, parts in the kit, or color. Rear HD in stock now, fronts b/o till Nov.
Be it HD or MR OEM.
What was the issue with the H0's. stumbled across a thread with fitment issues but didn't know if that was an isolated cause or not.
^Standard catchall phrasing. They have about the same amount of travel as stock. Which of course means....don't lower it past what Swifts give you. That's not gonna work with any fixed perch shock.

From: somewhere testing various tires, brakes, and suspensions.
Can someone just tell me then that this statement does not include Swift or Works springs which were designed for the Bilsteins.

hd works excellent
i am running hd bilsteins and worx springs: it is a fantastic set up for a daily driver. compared to stock MR, car is suppler on fast damping, but harder on slow damping, as it should be. no camber plates, stock bars, urethane bushes otherwise. i've had it since novebmer last year and love it.
i get a feeling gtworx looked HARD at the ralliart moderate japanese rally set up, the progressive rates are very similar.
i bought my hds from tire rack, but availability has been a horrendous pita (MONTHS FOR ^&%$'s sake), another source is a nice shop in cali, http://www.shox.com/appguide/shoxshop/
