Went for an alignment today, pretty disappointed

My new setup is, Bilstein HD, Swift Spec R springs, 25mm sway. (took over 5 months to get in)

The install was a nighmare. Chicago winters SUCK! Freakin salt and snow seized everything up. I started by unbolting the rear sway. The bolt closest to the exhuast snaped half way out Started unbolting the muffler hanger, with about 5 lbs of pressure SNAP goes another bold started taking the endlinks off, first one comes off nicely the second didn't. The nut didn't want to budge and ended up stripping the inside of the allen bolt

I mean I done suspensions in the past, on my Evo and other cars I had but I was like WTF

So got really mad and decided to just drop the car off at my tuner since he was going to install my whiteline center roll kit. APM is good peeps, but Maciek (the owner) calls me later that day say he can't get the bolt out of the front control arm, its seized in there and is worried it will break off. If it breaks, he can drill it out and put in a new whiteline bushings and I will be all set to go. The bad news is, it was already 5pm and there is no way he would be able to give me the car back that day (plus more $$).

We decided to hold off on the center roll kit for later this year. With wife being unemployed, its kinda rough now.

Now lets go to today. Went to get it an alignment. Custom specs -2 (or as far as is can go on the front) and -1.4 in the back, zero toe everywhere. He does the back, perfect. Starts working on the front and the tech comes to get me, "Sir we have a problem". The passanger side goes to -1.8, but driver side only goes to -1.3. WTF!!!! So I ended up with only being -1.2 in the front.

Man, why does my car hate me so much?

Any advice anyone? I guess I will need to get adjustable top mounts later this year but REALLY not looking forward to spending $260 for that.

decided to do the alignment on my friends Jim Bean alignment rack and got -2.2 without changing a thing on the car...??? Never really figured it out though

did you change the top strut bolt so that it is facing outwards? This bolt will allow you to run up to -2 camber on the fronts.

Ya, I would be weary of the shop. I'd take a look at the camber bolts - sounds like one side is on the other setting.

I was there when he was rotating the bolt, it went from -.4 to -1.3 only....

Also, the only way to change chamber in the front is by that one bolt right?

Make sure your HDs are not rubbing on the hub on that side. They might need a little grind down if they are caught up (mounting bracket to hub). Also make sure the springs are seated right and alignment holes line up.

You think I should be able to get a full -2 with this setup?

How would I know if they are rubbing (touching) the hub? I think I remeber someone making a thread about this with pictures and the actual grinding of the hub. I'm gonna try to dig it up. I grind the top back of the hub right?

Man, -1.2 sucks. Car pushes alot more

Also will look into those bolts and see how it goes.
