Clunk coming from front center when I shake the steering wheel???

Can someone with knowledge help me diagnose this possible problem? I have some slight play and clunking coming from the front center of the car when I shake the steering wheel back and forth when the wheel is straight??? Is this normal for awd cars or is something wrong???

Something is definitely loose in your front-end. Get it up in the air and see if you can pinpoint the source of the noise.

How about a jack and some jackstands? We can all sit here making guesses as to what it is, but until you, or someone, is under the car its going to be impossible to tell you exactly what it is.

Update! Checked the tie rods which were loose. Tightened them up and all is good!
