I have the same problem but I blame it on the crap rotors and pads
The rotors are fine. Pads are not.

The shop foreman stated these rotor problems can be aleviated by changing the stock pads from the begining.
Yep, the problem is inconsistent transfer layer from the pads. If you turn the rotors and put on new stock pads, I bet you'll be visiting the dealer again for the same problem because the problem wasn't fixed.

Don't use cross-drilled rotors for street use. They look "trick" but are really better suited for track use especially in the wet for better water dispersion.
I don't recommend x-drilled rotors at all for any track/racing use.
