Tired of my Eibach springs!
So I'm sick of these Eibach springs that came on my car when I bought it used. The car is just a bit to low in my opinion, and my buddy who has stock springs seems to handle better.
Im thinking of buying some stock springs or trying to find some stiff springs that are close to stock ride height. Any suggestions?
Are the GSR and MR springs the same?

Yup, higher lbs/in means stiffer rate. You'll also sometimes see spring rates listed in kg/mm.
Our GTWORX springs lower the car 20mm front and 15mm rear. That's about .75 inches up front and about .5 inches rear. As far as I know, every other spring out there lowers more.
We chose less of a drop to maintain as much suspension travel as possible. The bigger drop springs mean you are on the bumpstops the majority of the time. Bad for ride quality and bad for handling. The smaller drop also means we maintain better suspension geometry through a turn.
Swift springs are popular and also pretty good. They still drop a bit more than ours at 1.4 inches up front. I would definitely not go any lower.
A 2 inch drop means you are on the bumpstops before you even hit a bump, and the Swifts put you very close to them.

MR or GSR it won't make a difference.... but if you want better performance with compliant ride while not slamming the car you should look into robispec springs. I loved them for the road and the track.

You said your buddy has stock springs and it handles better. This is certainly plausable. Are they sportlines or pro-kit Eibachs? How many miles are on the car? I would think you would want to make sure one or more of the struts are not blown before you spend money on new springs. A stiffer spring will make the ride worse if you have a blown strut/shock.
