Will Evo 6.5 TME suspension fit on VII ?
While looking for a replacement engine for my Evo VII I was offered a wrecked TME. It hit a tree on the pass side so the body is history, but everything else seems ok.
It's got a stock engine, Motec M48, proflex coils, some Ralliart suspension parts and a Ralliart gearbox.
Can I use the Proflex coils on my Evo 7? How about the other suspension and drivetrain parts?

Rear shocks will bolt right in but the fronts won't, as the evo7-9 front lower shock mount is wider than the evo1-6s and uses M14 bolts while evo1-6s use M12s. You could however get in contact with a proflex distributer and see if they have any lower shock casings available and just swap them over.
Rear end bits will fit your car as the rear end of the evo6s are the same as the evo7-9s (lower arm is slightly different at the shock mount though). But front suspension all different.

This also counts for the evo4 & 5 aswell, I just say the 6 as that was the first to get the aluminium rear arms so is closer to the evo7-9s while the 4 & 5 still used steel rear arms.
