Removing Volk Lug Nuts

This may seem like a silly question but do I need to have a long socket set to remove my Volk lug nuts? I have a set of CE28Ns that I can't get off my car because the wrench that comes with the evo is to big to clear the wheel to remove the nut.

Thanks in advance!

I had similar problem with my Kosei wheels. I had to go to local parts store to buy a 17mm socket that will fit. When you compare the sockets, the one you need should have thin walls and it wouldn't cost as much as the one you see in the link above

After you brought the socket what did you use for a wrench now that the old evo wrench is obsolete

I own a 19 mm Matco thinwall and it's decent, but what's even thinner than that is a chrome 21mm. You don't want to scratch those Volks.

What do you use for a tire iron with the 21mm socket?

your lugs didnt come with a socket that fits the lug nuts? every time we order in a set of rays lug nuts it comes with the key for the locking lugs and a socket to fit the lug nuts.

It only came with the special key socket, but that only works with the unique lug nut.

Just so I get this right do I need a 17mm or a 21mm deep thin wall socket?
