rear-driver side hub problem
So I have to replace the hub on the car. Only problem is, I can't get the ball joints bolts loose that connect to the knuckle nor I can get the top arm bolts off because the gas tube is in the way of removing the bolt. Anyone with experience on removing the driver side hub/knuckle chime in?
I did this a few weeks ago and put it back together today. You first need to remove the gas tube cover (2 bolts) and another bolt that holds the tube to the chassis. Then it will take a bit of pulling down on the tube to get at that bolt. Bad design for sure, but it's doable.
For the ball joints, hit them with PB Blast and let that sit overnight. Use a shallow 22mm socket. They're only torqued to 60.

Wow, thanks a lot. Came right off after meddling with the gas tube.
Now for the tricky part. How would I go about on removing the ball joints from the knuckle? I can remove the knuckle off the car now but the arms and ball joints are stuck on there. I PB Blasted them last night but they aren't going.

So you want to separate the arms from the knuckle? It's not the professional way, but if you break the ball joint nut free, don't remove it. Have it threaded on a decent amount but not torqued. Put a piece of wood on top of it and bang it. You'll ruin the nut most likely but the knuckle separates from the ball joint faily easily. Changing the ball joints in the arms will require a shop press or rent the local Autozone ball joint kit (or buy one at Harbor Freight for half the price). Or you could pick up a cheap ball joint removal tool from Harbor Freight for like $15. I bought these too but didn't use them. My friend has a shop press.

(this is basically exactly what Mitsu uses)

(this will destroy it FYI)

...I guess I'll take it to a shop to get them properly pressed out as I still need them. One thing that's keeping it on those is the ebrake line. How do I go about on getting it off the hub without damaging it?
You're in for a good time there. You must remove the parking brake in order to get the knuckle off the car. Basically, just get in there and start disassembling everything that's assembled. I had no idea how to get it back together so I had my guru friend come do it. But it definitely has to be undone in order to get it off the car. I have the diagrams at home if you want me to post them. Good luck.
