Electronic Damping

Electronic Damping

I bought my car with tein electronic damping. I havnt played around with it yet but i was just wondering which direction the damping goes. As the numbers go up or down it does what to the damping?

I don't have the tein ones... but I have the Tanabe TEAS http://www.tanabe-usa.com/teas.asp?id=17 ... and it's active. But I believe as the number goes up the dampening gets stiffer and lower goes softer...
