Questions about Swift's helper and assist springs

I recently got interested in changing the suspension on my evo 9. I have a 6mo old baby, so I didn't want to get a full blown track duty suspension. I also daily drive most of the time, but also go for a "spirited" weekend driving.

I noticed that Swift has helper and assist springs and I had questions.
I heard that these will work with coilovers only. Does anyone know how these work? Will these work with any coilovers? How come they don't work with stock suspension? Can you use both the helper springs and assist springs together?

Please chime in if you know suspension. Thanks in advance everyone.

In short, the helper springs are made for coilovers only. It does exactly what the link explain within the first paragraph.

That ^^ and that ^.

Diameter of the helpers will not fit over and onto the strut perches.

What suspension is currently on the car?

Thats a pretty soft suspension and you have the Bilsteins already. I'd leave it be.

Thanks. This link helps.
The article in the link mentions Eibach and H&R. Does anyone have opinions on European suspensions on Evos?

Too low and too soft. Will hurt the handling of the car. Again, for what you want. Leave it stock.

Okay. How about changing just the spring, say Swift springs on Bilsteins?

Swifts aren't overly uncomfortable and the car would handle better too.
Bang for the buck bilsteins with swifts aren't bad at all

I've been eyeing the Swift Spec R's for a while now and I've always wondered if it's required to replace the stock bushings and get that one "anti-lift" kit thingy to maintain the car's geometry due to the drop of the Swifts...

Swift Sports are great. Wont kill your back or 6mo. But they are stiffer than OEM. Ride is tighter, more planted feel.

I'm buying swift spring sport springs soon. Problem is my evo has 85k on it. I have been told i will need to replace the struts when i put the springs in. I know multiple local guys that daily their cars and love swift springs. Good luck with the setup and the baby.

Struts are a wear item. Some last 50k some last 150k. Inspect your current struts. If they look good, I would install the Swifts.
