I have a Helix downpipe and i gotta used beatrush 4 point bar off of a evom member.

I went to install it this weekend and its hitting my downpipe. We kept it like that to see if its gonna make noise. It did a bit so were thinking of getting long bolts and some washers.

I did a few searches this weekend quick and didnt see anyone having this issue, that said.

1. Am I the only person..??
2. Will adding washers kinda ruin the purpose of the bar?
3. any suggestions to fix this issue? ...besides getting a new downpipe lol!

when i was running stock bars my downpipe was hitting it occasionally. but with the beatrush installed the dp is a good half inch space now. i have heard it once or twice though.

ive been the running the beatrush for a maybe month have not tracked the car yet and when i went to do an oil change i noticed the middle bracket was broken off and the bar is severly bent. no sign that i bottomed out or anything either. im going to try to get in touch with them tomorrow

 

im running an hks downpipe and i have ACD. so we have the same set up.

 

if you have a 2.8" downpipe like hks, tanabe and other co. made for the ACD system, then it wont rub/hit the downpipe.....now if your running any brand 3" downpipes, then the bar will hit it.....its normal cuz i had both the tanabe 2.8" and the helix 3" and went through the problem that you have now......add washers and you will be fine!
