Brake bleed order?

Does anyone know the proper procedure for bleeding the brakes on the Evo

what is the bleed order?

also what kinda fluid are you guys running?


i cooked the fluid the other night now the brakes feel really spongy

The tech manual has it. I can burn it on a CD for you for $20 or there is a link to DL it for free flating around here somewhere.

remember to bleed the outer nipple first..

Here is a nice article on the subject. I am supposed to be bleeding my brakes when I get some time. I will be using ATE SuperBlue.

so there is no specific order other than furthest from the MS ?


i was under the impression that this car had a multichannel setup?

So i would start at the front left the right rear then front right then rear left?

Blame it on looking on all those big booty Ny State ladies... lol

Start @ #1 which is the Rear Right (farthest from Master cylinder) and move to #2 at the MC (Front Left) as that is on the same channel.

Anybody know how much fluid the car takes if you are completely replacing the fluid?
