driving on 15s

I did some searching but havent been able to find anything. Now I have come across some rota slipstreams cheap(15x7) now I was wondering instead of running slicks, what tire can I run for DD that would fill in the fender gap well but not look to much like a truck tire while being lightweight (21lbs and under) that is good for street driving/drag strip.

One thing that never made sense to me was why everyone spent 5k on a small brake kit when rs/gs 3g eclipse calipers and rotors are direct bolton and will allow you to run 15's.

As others have voiced...the stock brakes will not fit with the 15's. You can however get a set of Rx7 wheels fairly cheap and run hoosiers or slicks on them.

more like a 1k total for what I paid for the "used ams small brake kit" with the ultralite rear rotors, but 5k is close to 1k I guess. Its called shopping smart and finding deals on used parts so I dont spend 5k like others do for the same performance.

There's two different casting of rx7 wheels you speak of. I think I remember that only 1 of them will work, don't remember why. The other thing is you need 20mm of spacers to get them to clear.
