quiet tires

im running yoko paradas right now and last time i looked i noticed it was gonna be time for some new meats pretty soon. i was wondering if anyone knows a good tire in the same pice range as the paradas that is Quiet on the highway and will last a while being that i do alot of freeway driving. paradas are good tires and i love them in the rain but Dammit they roar like mickey thompsons at freeway speeds and it bothers me to hear that much noise all the time

Yup! If you like Yokohama they make a great Ultra High Performance All Season tire called the DbS2. I couldn't believe how quiet they were when we tested them. A huge improvement over the first generation Db.

They are not as performance oriented as the Paradas, but they will deliver more creature comforts like you want. To check out the stats and reviews of this tire, follow the link below:

The Yoko ES-100s are quieter than the stock tires, while still having excellent road feel and wet performance. Ultimate grip is definitely lower than the A046s, but its worth it to me for daily use.

Yup, thats right. Most of the original Db tires had problems with irregular wear unless rotated every 1500-2000 miles. This also created a horrible roaring, opposite than what they wanted. This is where the DbS2 comes in. They took the orginal back to the drawing board and redesigned it. They tied more tread blocks together, played with the compounds and a few other things. The result was an great performing tire that is wisper quiet throughout its life. I would say the DbS2 is the quietest in its class.

I really haven't had any noise issues with mine. I rotate them as soon as my front tires have 1/2 the tread of the rear tires.......which means I rotate every 1500 miles.....

Yup, only thing that saved ya was rotating them every 1500. People who waited 3-4K miles into it had issues.
