Thanks Solo II Evo... May not have lots of years in an Evo.. but no stranger to quality suspension, and race engineering of parts for my track/autox cars... Did you go to solo nationals last week? (or PM me to keep this on topic)

Thanks for the beer FJF!

I'm running $3000 Ohlin R&T's and they are worth every damn cent, period.

I've had nothing but problems on my roomie's Stance AL+ which he sold just to be rid of them, my PSS9's were excellent if you leave them as is and buy them used. Revalve + expensive hardware (top mounts, etc.) can add up fast.

You'll get a lot of comments to buy HKS, Helix, Megan, whatever, but my honest recommendation is to avoid these like the plague. KW is an alternative, but there are better shocks out there for the money as Bassic says.
Great to hear you like your Ohlins.

How do PIC coilovers stack up against ASTs? Those are the two I am looking at. I autocross regularly(once a month at least).

The AST 4100s have JUST come out for the EVO so you won't find many with first hand experience of them. Reviews should pop up soon and I know that most of my customers track and/or autocross their car. On other vehicles we have been very impressed with AST's valving, travel, and the support from AST USA. We know that will be the case for the EVO since AST USA has done a great deal of testing on the EVO platform themselves.

boomn29 is a user here with a lot of track experience with the PIC coilovers (i think). He may have had a customized set but I am not sure. I do not have personal experience with them.

I was leaning toward the AST's. I was just curious about the PIC's. Would love to get Ohlins but there are definately out of my price range. I have no aspirations to do autocross at a national level. I would however like to do some divisionals.

I have no problem with spending the money for some good coilovers, and I'll prob hit up GTWorx when I have some more of the money set aside for them.

Thanks everyone
