Big ups to VOLK...

Well, i took a road trip up to St James, NY yesterday and for lack of a better phrase, the roads through Manhattan and out the Long Island Expressway were "total ****ing ****"...

I must have nailed some bad spots at 80 mph, and it sounded like the car was about to explode (BOOM)... i was so worried that i would find some rim damage when i got home last night... but when running my fingers around the lips there were no dimples or any irregularities to be found...

I hit a pothole about a year ago with a set of Racing Hart CP-035R's (the forged one), and they folded like a tin can... and both times i have been running on the S03 with a 40 series...

Big ups to the strength of the Volk's...

I agree with you Diesel, Volks hold up pretty well in teh city. I have teh F1 Winning (i think thats the name) for 5 years in the city and no dents. Drove them all season also. It was a two peice rim thats waht I think held up scity roads. I know alotta ppl cracking their TE37's though. Btw,you shouldve drooped by on sunday for the BIG MEET!

What? No pics?

What is here on Long Island that makes you want to spend 18 hour days going back and forth?
