2nd set of rims

Hi guys

Since the winter started I'm looking for the second set of rims to put my winter tires on. I still have not decided which ones exactly but I'm open for any suggestions. I want to stay with the stock size also I don't want to have rims heavier than the oryginals. Or maybe there is somebody who would like to sell the oryginal Enkeis for a fair price?

I've bought two complete sets of Enkei RPF1s in the 17x8 size, one set for winter, one set for competition tires.

They are much cheaper than the stock wheels, about 5 pounds lighter, and unlike a lot of 17x8 wheels out there, they actually fit.

How much they go for, and what is the best place to get them?

ASA KA-3

I bought the ASA KA-3's for $155 a piece. They look great and are lighter than the enkei's

Re: ASA KA-3

Are these 17x8 with the same offset?

You might want to check that weight spec again... The ASA KA-3, 17x7.5, 35mm offset (the wheel that was sold by Tire Rack as part of a winter package) weighs in at 22.5 lbs.

That's heavier than the stock Enkei wheel, and a whopping 7 pounds heavier than the Enkei RPF1.

The RPF1 looks a bit similar, but has 12 spokes instead of 10:

Wheel and tire weight of KA-3

It may be the Advans are much heavier than the Pirelli winter snow sports, but I can guarantee you the original wheel and tire combo feels majorly heavier than the Pirelli and KA-3 combo. Additonally at a 35mm offset the KA-3 shouldn't work, but it actually has more clearance than the Enkei's over the brake calipers.
