Tire / Wheel Fitment Questions

Looking for the right size tire for a set of street wheels I have. 18x9 +25 Rota G-force. I confirmed the fitment and get no rubbing on the 225 45 18 that were mounted when I got them, confirmed on coilovers and MR Bilsteins with Swifts. They also clear the front Brembo without issue.
Tires maybe have 2k on them, I never intended to run that tire anyway but were included in the sale however funny thing is though they don't look stretched on the wheel at all, they def don't corner on their sidewalls like other silliness I've seen, but either way they're cracking something terrible prob from not using them or **** federal tires who knows.
Not looking to do much if any fender work at all the rear quarters in my car are factory flawless and I don't know or trust anyone within 500 miles of here to even think about it.
That said I'd like to fit a 255/35 but in reading and measuring it may not work, however a 245/35... Thoughts? Minus?
Car is on a new set of coilovers now and also new aftermarket adjustable LCA's

The issue is with the +25 which is a very aggressive offset, although the 9" wheel helps vs a 9.5"
You will need to have a rear fender roll to make this fit w/out any chance of rubbing. Is there any chance you will change your mind on rolling the rears?
You can always do a test fit so you can see what Im noting here. Again, +25 is tough to correctly fit w/out rub or out of spec rear camber settings
If you do a roll you can possibly go up one size to a 245/40 or a 245/35. At this width, you are getting very close to needing a rear fender pull

Thank you for your input, greatly appreciated sir. I guess I wouldn't be opposed to having that inner lip flattened up a little bit, but fear this would create a little "U" shaped channel where water can now sit, so maybe cut a little bit off the inner lip, As long as that new raw metal edge is coated and sealed from elements. Then their remains finding someone reputable in the NE that can perform the work properly and professionally.
Well I definitely have a couple options now.
Thank You Again!!

With my body work, we did only a 3/4 roll & the rest was done w/a rear fender pull. Totally understand about not having a pocket there where corrosion will burn the metal. My EvO doesnt see any wet weather so Im not affected
Some shops dont like to cut the rears due to loosing the double metal thickness & potentially causing a ripple. But if its done right it will offer more clearance & prevent a debris trough

Anybody have any experience with CE28N Time Attacks? I was thinking of getting a friend's 18" x 9.5" +34 to go with 245/35/R18 tires. I want to keep the car as stop as possible so no fender rolling or spacers. Will it clear the brakes and no fender rubbing? Btw I have Endless 4-pot calipers all around.

Fitment up front is very good & no spacer is needed but the spokes are very close to the Brembo caliper & w/your Endless calipers there maybe an issue or maybe it offers better clearance???
Heres a thread w/a few guys running this same wheel

Great wheel & very good size & offset for the EvO rear fender. But, to be safe, I would still recommend a rear fender roll

I had a new idea. If I run 18" x 9.5" +22 TE37s with 265/35/R18 tires, I'm sure I'll need rolling/pulling of the fenders. But, do I still need to do the fender work if I had Voltex overfenders?
Though about it after I saw this photo:

The over-fenders require a full cutting of the rear fender. Once this cutting is done, there is no going back

^^^Been done many times. The 235 is the narrowest tire recommended for a 9" wheel

245/40R18 on 18x9.5 +22
I've read so many different threads and at this point I'm just out of time. The tire I'm looking at is 245/40R18 Federal 595 RS-RR on 18x9.5+22. The tire height per their website state 25.7 inches. I currently have 255/35R18 on with no problem but was looking for a little extra sidewall to cope with the power. The car is around 700hp. Will this be too much stretch? Should I stick with the 35's? The Hankook Ventus I have on now are like a slip n slide and it quite dangerous. I'm also concerned about loosing some footprint stepping down to the 245's.

Note: Federal tires run about a size wide so a 245 Federal 595 is more like a 255. I run their 595 EvO 265 /40 tire & its the same as my old Nitto NT05 275's
The 40 series tire is OK as it is relatively close to stock (-1.52% taller)
Hope youre properly fitted for those +22 offset wheels as that is a very aggressive wheel for the stock EvO rear

Federal 595rs rr p245/40r-18
I fit the wheels best I could by rolling the fenders and adding camber. I did not get it aligned yet. I'll have to pull the strut and do it correctly in the near future. Really my biggest concern is running the 35 for clearance of the strut / fenders vs running the 40 for more tire. Is it necessary to have more sidewall the more power you start making to help make it safer and soften the blow to the drivetrain ? I don't want to order the Federal 245/40 and find out things start rubbing all over the place because with the Ventus tires nothing rubs.

I wouldnt be overly concerned about whether a 40 vs 35 series tire is better for a high HP car
The 40 series will certainly offer more road protection & a slightly softer ride (same tire compared to same tire)
Youre currently on a 255/35 so running the Fed 245/40 is still close to the stock circum
Due to your high HP, I think a good summer only tire w/a softer compound will be better suited for your car (i.e. Nitto NT05's or the Federals)
If you have only been rolled, you really need a slight rear fender pull & w/the 40 series tire you may find youre hitting the rear bumper bolt (should be moved rearward)
