265 on stock BBS?

Is anyone running 265's on stock BBS wheels? My car is lowwered on Swift springs and stock struts. My buddy informed me that it will rub on the strut. Anyone verify?

Or is it better off to go with 255's?
Tires will be starspecs. I tried searching and couldnt not find my exact answer.
thanks

265...why would you do that??? Way too much tire for a 8" wide rim...255 is the widest...

You'll experience roll over with that wide a tire on such a narrow wheel. Don't go over 255.

thanks guys, i figured, reason i asked is i planned on going to a 9.5 inch wheel in about 2 or 3 months. And was wanting to get 265 for those and was wondering if the 265 would fit meanwhile.

Can anyone confirm a 265 fitting with stock struts tho and not coilovers?

i run 265 star specs on 17 x 9.5 rpf1s lowered on tein springs (garbage) and stock struts. will be going coils soon. -2 camber in the front, -1.5 rear, fenders done in the back, fit like a dream handle amazing. no work done to the fronts. star specs run a little wider than most, so it looks and fits perfect. if you want that tire and wheel size i say hold off if you can, you wont regret. gl
