I haven't tried to run a crank scraper in the 4g64 block, it is possible of course. It is not a direct bolt in though like on the 4g63.

BTW, I am not interested in building that chassis bracing that was asked about.

The fender braces, nothing yet. I haven't even taken the car to the chassis shop to mock the parts up yet, it's been too busy with two races in two weeks and trying to get the bar done. We should be shipping the harness bar orders out late this week.

 

Any word on the fender braces? Did you get a car to do the testing on?

 

Sorry, I did not get a car to build them on and I am going to pass on the project. The harness bars are moving, slowly at this point and I don't see the braces as being a more useful or profitable part.

i feel your pain. i know sparco makes a harness bar but its not a quick release. if it comes down to it I'm going to make my own

Unreal. The harness bar was nearly impossible to sell. Pissed our chassis guy off, told me that all the work he put into the project wasn't worth it because bars were sitting on his shelf but nobody wanted them.......now we stop and everyone wants them. I don't know if he still has a fixture for it all or not. I think he may have used up all the parts we had machined. In the end he asked us to just buy the material, no labor due to him to get rid of them. I can ask if he has more parts, if not then we won't make more.

The fender braces, not going to build them, if a guy doesn't want a bad *** harness bar that is lighter than the rest, nicer than the rest then I can't imagine anyone buying a brace.

 

i wanted a bad *** BR harness bar.. just didnt even know it was available until it was too late.. i missed the vendor announcement thread, i never check that forum i guess
