Rubbing sound

When i got the car it doesnt make sound or what so ever. But a week later when i w turning right i heard something rubbing like the tire is rubbing somewhere..it does it time to time... looked every where under and nothing looks like its rubing on something..so i went to the track....the next day it started to make noise again...so i went to the dealer and got it checked...the mechanic heard it and checked it out..he didnt see anything wrong except my front tires are stripping...the inside part of the tires was starting to show the wires...so i got new tires and got it alligned...its still doing the same thing...its not evrytime i make a left or right turn...it only does it time to time...
Thanks for the help guys

It's an Evo, get used to it. These things make all kinds of sounds you'll learn to ignore.

Ok, I understand, but we don't know what size you put on there. We like to go big, and you might have just put on the same size the previous owner put on. You're probably just a tad too big, but only rub a little at slower speeds. I run mudflaps because I hit forestry roads and get dirty, and I get a rub on the right front when I have the snow tires on, which are a bit taller than my summers. My rub is on my mudflap, so I don't care. And just to warn you, the right front is known for a nice CLUNK. Previous owner replaced strut and CV shaft, clunk is still there. Others on here have same problem.

I would check your inner fenderwell lining panels. Could be coming loose rubbing on the tire. Those things are not on very secure, just a few of those push pins secure them where the undertray meets with it. I had one come loose at the track and would make a rubbing sound when I cranked the wheel.
