Do TEIN lowering springs cause problems on 06 MRs?

Just wanted to get any feedback on this, I've heard from a couple of ppl that they've had problems with TEINs on their 06 MRs, one dude said he blew 3 of his Bilstein shocks because of them? Any thoughts? Mythbusters?

/facepalm.

Didn't search and read did you?

Tein S-Techs are too low, too soft. You're on your bump-stops when you install them. This is fact. They are junk.

And don't get them

Take off $400 from the asking price. Thats about how much its going to cost you to get the Bilsteins rebuilt.

Well, you went back a rung with the Tein install. Approached going up 1 with removing them. Then back 2 more for going with a cheap coilover with ****ty spring rates. Don't pass go. Don't collect $200.
