Install of Lowering Springs

I want to get my Espelir Springs put on, but I have no idea how long a competent shop should take to install and then align the car. It's snowing here and I don't have access to a garage or decent tools.

The reason I ask is that I live near a very good but very expensive Porsche/BMW shop who charge $95 an hour
I may go some place else...but I still want to be informed.

Any info. would be very welcome - thanks in advance.

It took me about 3 hours from start to finish. And this was out of my garage and only the first evo ive done. Im sure the next time it would only take me a couple of hours or less.

good luck

Competent shop should take about 2 hours. Anything significantly higher and they're padding your bill.

I think 90 minutes is a fair amount of time for a competant shop. A competant shop should have a lift and all the tools needed to get the install done in no time. The only really time consuming part is taking the springs off the stock shocks and putting the aftermarket springs on. The shop should have an air compressor to keep those times down.
