You're in Cali, so find any "speed" shop or "tuning" shop and it should be no big deal.

tell them you need to change your "strut assembly"...you just want to replace the "coil springs" with new ones but re-use your shock absorbers...any shop should be able to do this.

Find a shop that knows what a spring is. Then go there.

will charge you WAYYYYY too much.

Or you could DIY it and learn. It's pretty easy when you get down to it.

$600? OMG LOL! You can do it yourself easily if you have an air compressor and an impact gun. Just get some spring compressors ($20) and you're set! Just get an alignment afterwards...

Do you know/have any friends with an air compressor? Jack up the car, put it on 4 jack stands, remove the susp., go to you friends place, easy off/easy on, and return home for a quick reinstall.

*4 jack stands - $20-30
*Harbor Freight spring compressors - <$20
*Use of air compressor - lunch or 6-pack

Definitely < $600!

Most of us have never paid a shop.

Alignment should be $60. I can see the springs taking a couple hours, so figure $200-300. So maybe $400 as a maximum total price.
