Different tire size

Got a flat tire on the way home lastnight so i had to put a stock wheel back on. My question is will i have any issues or hurt anything with different size tires on my car. The fronts are 235/45/17 and the rears are 245/40/18? This will only be temp due to the shop not able to get them in until Thursday.

In the short term no but you do run the risk of upsetting your differential because the wheels will effectively be spinning at different rates.

why dont you just put all the stock wheels back on till you get it fixed? I just wouldn't chance it.

I know I wouldn't be driving 22 miles with mis-matched tires, let alone doing it all week. Either put all the stock wheels/tires back on or find alternate transportation.

.4in difference in dia is not going to be friendly to your car. Put all 4 OEM back on. Now.

Different outside diameters front to back if you do that. Will not be drive train friendly at all.
