Suspension: DD and winter snow

Hey guys, I am saving up for a Evo 8 as we speak but while i save up every penny i find, i am planning out mods along with the budget required. So with that said I have now come to the suspension category. I have to consider my budget so i am going with the spring route. The springs i am thinking about are the Tanabe GF210. Now to make things clear this is going to be my daily driver and during the winter season it will be my "go up to the mountains to snowboard and possibly get distracted and play in the snow for a little" car. I will not track the evo. I also live in California, the Central Valley to be a little more precise so even the winter is not that bad and the roads are usually cleared, but there always those fun days to play in the snow. Sorry i got distracted OK so the question is: If i do lower my future evo with the GF210 will i still have the drive-ability for DD and the winter snow trip/play day? I am going to run the springs with stock shocks/struts. Thanks for your time and knowledge in advance. And i apologize if this is an idiotic question or difficult to understand.

I chose to use the Tanabe because i thought i did some good research and found that an they were on average one of the better springs for DD.

i just bought swifts. the sports are supposed be really nice for DDing and spirited driving, and don't drop too low to compromise handling. I got spec-r's because I like to slay backroads.

Im from the central valley ish area, bear valley was my home resort. Worked my senior year as a lift op on the weekends and just sat in the upper heated room and got baked. haha

Well its good to hear the my backup option had come down to the Swifts so thank you for the information and if you dont mind getting back to me after a while, about how well they are working for you. Ill have to re-do my search efforts.

* i also read somewhere that Swifts tend to sag quickly...was this just some person talking out their rear?

Do not see an issue driving through the snow if its dropped.

+1 I run Bils Group N spec dampers on my IX, it's pretty low and I fit a old splitter instead of my carbon MR one and do my bit for the local community, clear the roads in my Evo snow plough

Just get your springs on and enjoy

if used in their designed range, Swifts have a lifetime guarantee against sagging. I personally love mine.
