I've had great experiences with Blizzaks. This year I will be on Dunlop Winter Sport M3's since I got a ridiculously good deal on them.

I've had Blizzaks and Firestone winterforce.

Out of those two, the firestones are much cheaper and perform a whole lot better. IMO

from rockford il:

ive had blizzack ws50s. had no problems during some of the bad snow storms we had. 6-8" of fresh snow, no problem. had a blast powersliding. under normal cautious driving was extremely controlled. although i never tried slamming on my brakes or brake hard.

Winter Sport M3's, probably the best snow tire ever made. Alas, discontinued.

I've been using these General Altimax artics in Michigan winters for a few years, good price and they work great for me.. (+1 on the snow drifting around corners and what not, tons of fun.. just try not to hit a curb covered in snow!)

Have always used Blizzaks here in NW Indiana and been amazed. AWD and that tire you'll have no issues in this area. Tend to be the more widely used in this car community as well.

Also use the General Altimax stock size on stock wheels. Prefer them x100 to the Blizzaks
