Hey guys, do you think these are good to get?
Ive seen some reasonable prices for used ones without breaking the bank.
or should I just stick with my blisteins/swift combo?

fellow FA 500 Series owner as well. I've felt Stance and KW in Evos and I'm extremely happy with mine. I'm on 10k/12k spring rates, and have it set 8 clicks from full stiff. I've done one track day with them and DD on them as well. Not unbearable, but it's a nice stiff. They absorb the small bumps you run into daily very well. Great CS from them as well. Terry replies to emails extremely quick. And these coils go low

I've had mine for a month now, went with 8k fronts/ 10k rears and paid the extra $ for the swift springs upgrade package. Only thing I recommend doing when you buy them, is to order the roller bearing spacers from FA. I had a spring turning issue with mine and even with the correct preload settings that Terry recommended I still had the issue. But after installing their roller bearing spacers my problems have been alleviated.
The ride quality is actually quite nice, if you're very concerned about comfortability I suggest you call Terry up and he'll talk through with you the best spring rates for your car.

I have them and own in Street Modified in my region. I don't know if I can give them all the credit for that though. Compared to other budget coil overs these are very comfortable to drive on the street even with 9k/11k rates but take into consideration I live in Florida with flat well paved roads. At full soft they ride like my bilsteins but once stiffened you surely notice the minor bounce. I wish I could compare them to a nice set but I haven't gotten the opportunity to ride in anything high end because it is rare I see another evo out at my autox events. I used to install a lot of twin flex kits and Fortune Auto is hands down a more comfortable ride. Do I argue getting a used set of KW's is better? No, but some people don't want to buy used and then have to rebuild them. Sometimes you get a really great deal and if that is the case go for it but these are great for the money.

If you want a good quality coilover that is going to perform, KW all the way. If you just drive on the street and don't care for tracking, get the cheap chinese made coilovers.
And for cheapest rate, go to ImportImageRacing, they're the main distributor there. So if anything they'll be giving you the best price.
haha hope you do know that the FA track car is on the 500 Series. KWs are great, but not a necessity to everyone. Anyways, it's an endless debate but if he really wants to get into tracking do you really think he'll be putting down better lap times on a set of KWs vs FA? I doubt he's planning to track that seriously, for a good number of us these coils do more than enough.

Does it look like I care if FA is using their coilover on their car? Nope. If someone is doing some SERIOUS tracking, then yes, I do think KW's would pull better track times if they were tested back to back on the same day. I'll put money on that.
Do you see serious track Evo's running Chinese made crap? I don't think so.. You see them running KW, Ohlins, JRZ, Motons, etc etc.
I'd highly doubt you know any difference between a cheap shock and a good shock seeing that you have got your "hella flush Stance" on your EVO claiming that you track it.
Why do you think I told him to get the Chinese made coilovers over the KW's if its a street driven car and don't do much tracking?

the only experience with Fortune Auto i have is a 10 minute street drive with a set of OTS 500s on my friends Evo X. they rode well (i have Ohlins R/T DFVs and the roads up here are absolutely terrible), but i can't comment on how they handle on the track. i'd take them over similar-priced asian coilovers (BCs/Megans/Ksport/D2/Teins etc) in a heart beat though.
the only problem my friend has is that the lock rings keep on coming loose, and they're installed by someone very credible in my area. i have no idea if this happens with CT9As as well.
