Just over a 1000 miles on my new EVO, and I have a weird binding type noise when coasting from aroun 20mph down.
Seem like one of the brakes, anyone else have this?
is this normal?

yea actually i have that same noise when im braking and slowing down to stop, it feels like the tires are rubbing or something, maybe its just the new brakes, cause i have 700 miles on my EVO, yes 700 not 7000

 

700 miles ... ur car isn't even a week old!

 

Mine have done this since the day I bought it, 1900 miles strong.

Cleaning between the brake rotor/caliper with wheel cleaner helps for about two days. I have been told it's the excessive dust.

Get some Ferrodo or Project Mu pads, seems to lessen the noise a bit.
