GiroDisc magic pads shim question

I just got a set of these that already have the basic shims on them now should a add the oem ones on top of these as well or just run the girodisc shims or remove them and use the oem shims only

I think it is a good idea to keep the OEM shims on the car no matter what else you stick in the caliper. I've done this and never had the noise problems some people experience.

From personal experience, using the same exact pads, i did not use the oem shims and my car has never braked so quietly.

I love them pads

Granted. On the other hand, in the future, if the OP decides to go to a more aggressive pad, where are the shims he will need to make them quiet. In my garage things tend to disappear fast.
