Ohlins coilovers installed

Installed my new Ohlins coilovers yesterday and I have to say that they may be the ultimate "street" coilover system available. Ive ridden in stock, JIC, and Tien equiped cars and these are so much more refined.
The handling balance is very stocklike but less "busy" feeling - the car only rotates when asked. The difference is that the ride quality is sooo much better than stock. Reminds me of my old Audi A4 - firm, controlled but seemingly bottomless and smooth. I can actually rest my head on the headrest on broken pavement without getting whiplash! Any way they are rebound damping adjustable (bottom of the strut on the front, top on the rears) and height adjustable. They are a little expensive (about $2100) but if you want a smooth ride AND unbelieveable handling and control it is a small price to pay. Gotta be a reason uses Ohlins on its own WRC cars

heres some pics, I have since lowered the front another 1/2" to even the stance out.

Where did you get them?? $2100 isn't bad, that's about how much I got my Cusco 02Rs for. What kind of spring rates are on them??

Im interested as well! The price is great considering what other companies charge for thier crap. Your car looks great. Like you said, if its good enough for :Mitsu: its good enough for me!

Good job!

They are the only "street" coilovers built by Ohlins (in sweden). Ohlins Japan offers the piggyback remote reservoir coilovers but they are not made by Ohlins - just "licenced by" Ohlins.

I can get these through my work. My company is the formula car Ohlins Dealer.

PM me for details

Hey that's a great review of the kit.

Are you sure it's only rebound adjustable and not rebound/compression linked adjustment?

Thanks,

Steve
