Tein springs for drag racing

So I've read the "tein = garbage" comments all over the net. How have they faired in dragging? My car is DD I don't find myself slinging into corners so I wouldn't notice much of a curve difference I am going to drop the car and went with these springs have they helped anyone's 60' versus stock springs on stock suspension?

Not sure. Most of the knowledge here is based on vehicle handling. To be honest you might have more luck posting in the "Competition" forum under the sub forum "drag racing".
Here is a link.

But just as a warning that is where the hardcore guys(a lot of good knowledge) hang out, do your research before just posting there.

Good luck!

Its not just handling that suffers. You're riding around basically on your bumpstops which is ruining the ride quality just for the look of being "Low". If you want a lower look at least go the Swift route or get some adjustable body coilovers.

For all intents and purposes you have started a countdown towards strut destruction, no matter what kind of driving you do. Just remember that with Tein springs, it's not a matter of if your stock struts will blow, it's a matter of when.

They would be worse at a drag strip than stock suspension.

I believe that there is a thread done by mostwanted? Anyway it says that using any lowering springs and he recommended the teins as a pathway to running 11s on a stock turbo.

Generally people are warned to steer clear but if they serve the purpose I guess.
