rotorpros or emil performance brakes

well ive done my homework and it seems that everybody likes the rotorpros, im about to buy rotors and pads to my evo and i want something not so expensive like the rotorpros with stoptech pads and i came across these brake rotors and pads from emil performance but i havent found any reviews plus they are really really cheap. All 4 corners cross and drilled for $198.60 and all 4 corners slotted with pads for $272.75. What do you guys think ? BTW the rotorpros that I want and the pads come to $389.00.

I would be suspicious about this. What kind of use are these brakes going to see?

i would still get and go with rotorpros. many people on here use them for daily use. road racing and track. you might pay a bit more but rotor pros have good reviews

Just daily driving, i just need the front pads i recently resurfaced and changed the pads on the rear but when i resurfaced the rotors they were almost on the min thickness thats why im just buying the pads for the front. The rotors that i want are cross drilled and slotted with full gold zinc, well i guess im going with the rotorpros.

go rotorpros...but do NOT get drilled rotors, especially for your DD application. slotted only is fine.

Why ? You think theyll crack pretty quick or at least dimpled!

yes, cracking...especially on a lower-end rotor. if you want to further cool the brakes, a brake air duct kit will do much more for you than drilled rotors.

I had dimpled rotors at one point in time. While they held up ok, even for mild track use, they are annoyingly noisy. Made my car sound like a freakin' Cicada. If you must have the cool factor, get slotted - otherwise just get plain rotors. I've been running rotorpros for close to 35K miles with no issues.

I would not get the Emil performance rotors. They are actually cross drilled - not a good thing for a budget rotor. Unless it's a high-end rotor that has been designed and tested for cross-drilling, I would not put one on my car. For street use it's pointless anyways.

Stay away from drilled as well.

Stay away from cheap cross drilled rotors. Period.

For street use only, use the Centric rotors. You dont need slotted either.

I would recommend the EBC yellow pads for street use if you can afford them. They have very good cold bite, dont dust much and are not noisy at all.
