400+ Daily driven brake set up help..

If you are strictly DD'ing the car, I would just say stick with the stock setup. It works quite well in my opinion...
If you are planning on doing other things on the other hand, I would look into upgrades.

No, however it does help the car to achieve greater speeds more easily so additional stopping power does give piece of mind.
Personally I rum DBA 4000 slotted rotors Stoptech Street pads Techna-Fit SS brake lines and Amsoil brake fluid and my brakes feel great.
The car is 95% street driven and 5% auto-x and I have no complaints whatsoever.

I remember one of the car magazines testing the stock Evo when it reached our shores (USA) and finding that the stopping distance set a new record for their testing, beating out a Porsche that had previously held the record. Now remember, the OP said that his car was a DD. When I got my '03 I wasn't worried about being able to stop, I was worried about the guy behind me being able to stop as quickly as I could.

for spirited road driving, you need pad upgrade, at least..
best is Performance friction front discs + performance friction pads, or for even more stopping power, Carbotech XP10 pads...
on my car I have DBA 5000 discs and Carbotech XP10 pads, and I track it (roadcourse..) + do some spirited driving in the mountains... and this was the only setup to work properly..

yeah, but on stock pads, after 3 stops you get massive brake fade...

I think the Carbotech Bobcat would be a really good pad for you, front and rear.
As for rotors the other suggestions are good.
