Brembo seal advice?
this winter i decided to powder coat my calipers and instead of sending it to someone like TCC for $450 i decided to do it myself locally to save some money...this turned out to be a horrible idea and i am now $700+ into this project and still have headaches...
i am having troubles with the o-ring seals on the inner part of the caliper on the larger piston, does anyone know any tips or tricks to do this without tearing the seal...ive gone through 4 sets of seals already and dont know what else to do

What exactly is the problem? Is the seal tearing when you insert the piston? I rebuilt my calipers a while ago and don't recall having any problem like that. Make sure you lube the seal/piston/caliper well with brake fluid before inserting it. It might help to twist the piston as you insert it in to the caliper. I recall also smoothing down any sharp edges with very mild abrasive cloth (crocus cloth).
