from what i hear the valving is just a touch softer on the mr but not enough for anyone to notice. even the hd's are pretty soft. in the future i plan on sending mine out for a revalve to stiffen them up a touch.

Another person happy with both the handling and ride quality improvement of Swift+Bilstein.

^^^ I was literally shocked at how smooth my Evo rode when I went from the OEM KYB/Spring setup to the Bilstien/Swift Spec R setup. I did it for handling, and it was a good setup for the $$. But the improvement in ride quality was oh so sweet.

Sorta drove hom the point to me how crappy the OEM kyb's must be.

If you really really really wants coilovers then the bilstein PSS9's seems like they will fit the bill for your car. Not exactly a track coilover but they are adjustable and smooth

I run Bilstein HD struts with Swift Spec-R springs and my Evo is now the smoothest driving car I own. IMO the step-linear nature of the Swift springs make them a perfect combination of smooth street ride and good performance.

I found the Swift Spec-R springs no problem ad I also found the Bilstein HD's but the tricky part is there are alot of listings for them are named differently and I dont wanna get anything mixed up. Like I found Bilstein HD "struts", and Bilstein HD "Strut assembly" those the same thing?

^ Not sure what the difference would be. The part number on my front struts was F4-VE3-B843-H2.

HDs are on a back order.

Contact GTWorx.com for their Bilstein/Swift or GTWorx setup.

I contacted GTworx and they said they were on back order 'til July or August and would cost around $1250 for the setup (did't mention if that included shipping).

Called Tire Rack and they had 3 Bilstein HD rears in stock and are getting 2 fronts in 6 days. Guess who those are going to! Then I called MAP and ordered the Spec-R's. Total for everything shipped came out to $1137 and I will have it all in just over a week.
