Question HELP with damper settings BILSTEIN pss9 (coilovers)

Hi everyone, Im new to this forum and have only had my evo8 for a couple of months.
Im having trouble figuring out which way is softer / harder setting. 1 is the hardest setting and 9 is softest most people have said. but clockwise and anti clockwise is mixed ? most coils are clockwise(for harder) but some other forums have said the opposite for these coils?? does anyone know or have this particular coilover for the EVO.

Also - I have a HKS cf airbox with the HKS smf intake, but wish to change the intake(because ive heard its rubbish for filteration) to the apexi power intake.. just wondering if it will fit in the hks cf box and if anyone has the setup ?

I am sorry if i have posted this in the incorrect place but if anyone could help me that would be much appreciated !

Simple, turn to 1 and that is stiff, turn to 9 and that is soft, unless you are missing the knobs, I don't get why you are confused?

About the intake filter, post pics of how your engine bay looks like now, do you have the IC spray reservoir next to the filter? If yes, then any longer air filter won't fit, I relocated the reservoir to the trunk and now I run an AMSOIL dry cone filter with the hks box, fits great, filters great, and the best part is I don't have to oil it/clean it.

thanks i figured the damper settings, got it set on 4 front and 5 rear .. feels good.

as for the box, i got the intake and it does fit only its super tight in the hks cf box and there is no room to screw the filter to the adapter (that connects to the MAF)- i will be sticking with the HKS intake and just replacing it every 10,000kms

sorry to bump the thread, but today i went to adjust my damper settings currently set on 4 F and 5 R .. to 3 F and 4 R
everything was fine until i got the the front left.. which wouldnt go past 4 ? on the right side i could turn the damper from 1-9 fine, but on the left it would go 9-4 then it would be difficult to turn after that.. i also noticed the previous owner or someone had drawn a white line as a marker on 1 and the damper but it didnt go past 4 on the marker ??

any ideas :S

I had that problem once with a different set of coilovers. The shop I took the car to was able to fix it without sending it back to the coilover company at the time so I would just get a suspension shop to take a closer look at the adjuster.
