Ohlin's R/T DFV installed, settings?

I just removed the Vishnu/Gerrard Spec Ohlin's I had on(bought from Eric@Mil-Spec) and installed new R/T DFV's, with HyperCoil 600 lb front/ 700 lb rear springs.

Didn't have the Ohlin's on for very long so I never got around to messing with the settings. Removed because the rear's need a rebuild, and I got a great deal on these.

Anyway, for street driving (until next season) how are you guys setting them up? Right now I've got them set at Ohlin's recommendation of 10 clicks from full stiff.

How many "clicks" are there?

Thanks

Oh, yeah the ride is great even on high spring rates and at 10 clicks, I was just curious what others were running them at.

At over 3 grand for "one-way" adjustable coilovers....I think not.

The number of adjustments does not make a coilover good or bad.

The Ohlins R/T setup is a very good road/track package.

To the OP: Is this just for street driving for now? I'd just pick whatever is most comfortable. Then dial them in for whatever form of racing you do next season.

No argument that these are great coilovers. They are just pricey which makes them less accessable for a majority of evo owners.

Sorry this is a bit off topic, but I have Vishnu/Gerard Spec Ohlins on my car, thinking about making the same move you have just made.

How do they compare to the new R/T DFV?

I'm honestly not yet qualified to answer yet. For one, I'm on 600/700# springs with these vs the much lower rated springs with the Vishnu's. And I've only driven about 20 miles with 2 commutes. Feels very much the same so far, albeit much stiffer. They are both amazing.
