XXR 527 issues!

hey guys, Im breaking my head with this,I have a xxr 527 18x8.75 +20, I tried 2 different tires on my evo 8 one was 245/40/18 and rub when I made turn on the inner fender liner and look big so I tried 255/35/18 those fit right but they look protruding from the car and may rub . I want to know if one of you have put this wheels with the same specs. What size of tire would be best for my car with eibach suspension and daily driving?thanks

try 245/35/18, roll the fenders and get rid of the fender liner

I'm confused as to why if you were rubbing with 245/40s you would go to a wider (255) tire with less side wall? I would have just rolled your fenders and called it a day!

I'm running 255/40 on 17x9et25 all around and have no issues
