Is an alignment needed after height adjustment?

Nothing wrong with camber on a street car. Unless someone is running something like -3 or greater, it should have minimal if no impact on wear and the car will corner better. I run the aforementioned alignment and have had no wear issues. It's usually the toe that will will a tire...

I definitely have more to learn. I'm still reading speed secrets and I'm reading about tires.

I'm mostly going off of hearsay which isn't necessarily the right thing to do for sure.

I was always under the impression that tires will wear uneven if running camber on the street. I guess I never found out exactly how much camber though.

Camber will cause uneven wear from inside to outside of the tire, but not enough to kill a tire quickly. Toe will kill a tire quickly and the biggest thing would be people lowering their car a little bit without an alignment will cause so toe-in and ruin your tires very quickly. Camber combined with toe out of whack will eat a tire extremely fast
